Conserved Heritage of Sophia Hills

Sophia Hills, a new condo launch sitting on top of Mt Sophia boasts of a rare and rich heritage too angelic to ignore! Nestled majestically among the serenity and lush Mt Sophia, yet located centrally within the D9 city area, Sophia Hills’ alluring appeal is but a sublime grandeur. This site was sold under the Government Land Sale (GLS) with the prerequisite that the two schools and a trinity college sitting within its grounds must be conserved.

This new condo launch has within its compound the deep history of The Methodist Girls School, the first educational institution for girls established for the Methodist way back in 1887, as its Clubhouse. The gorgeous past is beautifully infused into modern living, giving it a soulful presence!

Nan Hua Girls School (NGS) is equally proud to be part of this new launch. Catering to the Chinese community in the early 20th century, NGS was set up to boost Chinese education back then. This old dame will soon be the Childcare cum Kindergarten of Sophia Hills.

True to its quest to bring back near-forgotten heritage, Sophia Hills has also adopted The Trinity Theological College, built in 1948, and converting it into a fine-dining restaurant. How else to accord such reverence to a holy and sacred signature of the early years!
