Newest Highway In Singapore (NSE)

The new North-South Expressway (NSE) will run alongside the Central Expressway (CTE). It will be Singapore’s newest highway, meant to  ease the heavy traffic along CTE, Marymount and Thomson Roads. A new condo Singapore launch, Thomson Impressions, is located in the vicinity along Lorong Puntong. The news about the new highway is a highly welcomed news as the highway will help alleviate congestion in the area and thus boost the value of the area even higher.

Major construction will begin in 2016. Meanwhile the Land Transport Authority (LTA) is currently working on the detailed engineering complexities.

This NSE essentially links the city central with enclaves from north to south stretching along  Woodlands to Toa Payoh; covering Sembawang and Yishun; then Bishan and Ang Mo Kio via exit roads along the stretch.
To augment the overall smoothness  of the roads, this latest highway also connects to other existing highways namely  PIE, ECP and SLE.

With this NSE, motorists easily save 30% of travelling time during rush hours between Woodlands and the central area.
