Mt Sophia Site Gets Strong 9 Bids

Mt Sophia land plot was released by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) in the third quarter of 2013 for sale. It attracted strong bids from 9 bidders due to its prime location in district 9 and its proximity to many amenities and the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange. The bid was eventually won by Hoi Hup Realty Pte Ltd, Sunway Developments Pte Ltd and S C Wong Holdings Pte Ltd. The cost of this Mt Sophia site is $1,156.53 per square foot per plot ratio total ing $442.3 million. This worked out to a breakeven cost of about $1630 to $1800 psf. Selling price could be starting from $1900 psf.
