A new junior college (JC) will open in 2017 from three Integrated Programme (IP) schools. The likely site is the current Asian Golf Academy, at the junction of Marymount Road and Sin Ming Ave.
Based on the URA’s Master Plan, this area has been designated to house  an educational institution.

This new JC will be Singapore’s latest school to offer Integrated Program, taking in students from CHIJ St Nicholas, Catholic High,  and  Singapore Chinese Girls. An additional 100 spaces will be reserved for outstanding students from other institutions who have completed their O levels.

Students will proceed with their initial four years in their original schools, who will then transit to the  yet-to-be-named JC for their final 2 years.

The present Institute of Technical Education College Bishan has been designated as the temporary location,  and will settle at the new site in 2018.

This new JC is another alternative for those living nearby besides Anderson Junior College and RI. Looks like Upper Thomson area is getting set to become the place for top grade educational institutions.

If you are keen to own an apartment in and around Upper Thomson, here are some for your consideration:
