Peak Residence is a site obtained via a collective sale. The freehold residential site at former Peak Court at Thomson Road was sold for S$118.88 million to Tuan Sing Holdings and Rich Capital Holdings. The 35-year-old Peak Court consisted of a four-story tower with 20 maisonettes sitting on 57,378 square feet of land with a gross plot ratio of 1.4. This means that the acquisition price of the site is about S$1,558 per sq ft.
The majority of shares will be owned by Tuan Sing with Rich Capital holding 30%. A joint venture will be established, called TSRC Novena, to carry out the acquisition.
Peak Residence new condo launch, located in the suburban Thomson area, is interpreted through a lyrical story. As a design concept, it attempts to imagine a lyrical celebration of light, space and nature. Its exclusiveness is derived from its vantage point, since it sits on higher grounds with views of the landed properties and beyond.
On the outside, a serene simplicity prevails with its clean shape, which is complemented by the façade’s elegant expression. Through the use of large glass curtain walls, the structure is able to lighten its massing and open up its interior to the welcoming exterior. Full-height windows allow enough sunshine to disperse throughout the interiors, energising them. The interiors are transitory because they enable the day’s progressive changes of mood to buffer the living atmosphere with the suburban surroundings.
The floorplan’s regular geometric design offers clear vistas and enough natural ventilation for the units. Internally, timeless and natural materials are used to ensure that the apartment remains an ageless environment and a dignified setting for a family’s development.
A sequence of horizontal planes is folded into forms on the façade in an origami style. The folded shapes are then purposefully moved and extended to form pleated motions on the façade. The goal is to achieve a transitory sense of coordinated motion and animation of shades produced by the shapes at various times of the day.
The development is placed in a natural setting, complete with terraces, courts, and plenty of foliage. Nature complements the interiors as the spaces and views become one with nature.
At the sky terrace, residents enjoy the beautiful vistas as they offer seamless connectivity. The sky-garden here shares a large common area that stimulates social contact and involvement amongst the residents.
